Bhopal: Over 1,300 junior doctors in five
state-run medical colleges in Madhya Pradesh would go on a
strike and resign en masse tomorrow in protest against the
government's decision to make three-year rural service
mandatory after post graduation.
"We are going on a strike, hand over our resignations
and stage massive protest tomorrow against the government's
decision of making three-year rural service mandatory for us,"
Madhya Pradesh Junior Doctor Association (MPJDA) president K K
Prajapati told PTI here today.
"We took up this issue with the authorities concerned.
But as the desired result was not achieved, we are compelled
to go on a strike and resign," he said.
