Indore: Over one lakh followers are expected
to gather at the birth place of the architect of the Indian
Constitution, Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar at Mhow near here on the
occasion of his 119th birth anniversary on April 14.
The ruling BJP government in Madhya Pradesh has made
elaborate arrangements to welcome large number of the
followers congregating at Mhow on the occasion.
For last two years, the event has been celebrated as
'Ambedkar Mahakumbh'.
Madhya Pradesh SC/ST Welfare Minister, Vijay Shah
reviewed preparations for the Mahakumbh and directed the
officials concerned to make arrangements for lodging and
boarding of the followers coming from various places.
The State Government has also declared a public holiday
on April 14.
