Srinagar: Alleging the National
Conference-led coalition government in Jammu and Kashmir has
failed to provide basic amenities to the people and stop human
rights violations, Peoples Democratic Party on Sunday announced
its plan to stage protests across the state.
"PDP has decided to demonstrate throughout the state
against mis-governance and failure of the state government in
providing basic amenities like ration, gas, kerosene and
rising human rights violation," PDP said in a statement here.
It said the protests would be held on February 22 in
Srinagar and Jammu among other places.
