Gangtok: Apparently in an attempt to build bridges with his rebellious colleague PS Tamang, Sikkim's Chief Minister Pawan Kumar Chamling Tuesday said Tamang remained an integral part of the ruling Sikkim Democratic Front in his capacity as the vice-president.
Tamang was reportedly unhappy after being denied a berth in the ministry in the SDF's fourth term.
''I have no malice or ill will against Tamang nor he has spoken anything against me till date. I too have never said anything against him or ever considered taking any action
for anti-party activity being attributed to him,'' Chamling told reporters.
The chief minister, who is also the SDF president, cautioned Tamang against being used politically by the Opposition for their 'narrow' and 'vested interests' in a bid to divide the ruling party.
