Hyderabad: A city court on Monday granted
bail to two senior journalists of a Telugu news channel who
were arrested in connection with airing of a news report
alleging foul play by the Ambani brothers Mukesh and Anil in
the death of former Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy.

Krishna, Input Editor of Telugu news channel TV-5, arrested by
Andhra Pradesh CID on Friday last, are now in judicial remand
till January 22 at the Chanchalguda jail here.
The VI Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate's
Court, hearing the bail application of both the journalists,
gave them bail on furnishing a bond of Rs 5,000 each with two
surety of like amount.
Magistrate C H Ramachandra Murthy directed the channel
not to telecast any news item pertaining to YSR's death since
investigation is pending with CBI and asked the editors to
cooperate with the CID in their investigations.
The police had filed cases on the charge of inciting
ill-feeling among a section of people against three Telugu TV
news channels TV-5, NTV and Sakshi TV owned by Y S Jaganmohan
Reddy, Congress MP and son of Rajasekhara Reddy.
The three news channels had aired a news story
quoting a report from a foreign website which said Reddy was
the victim of a conspiracy.
The telecast of the report on Thursday night triggered
an attack by Reddy's supporters on business outlets of
companies led by Mukesh and Anil, across Andhra Pradesh.
