Jammu: Union Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad today expressed fears over the new surrender policy for youths in PoK proposed by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, saying the initiative may end up as another way of infiltration.

"Who will give guarantee for them (youths) and should we trust Pakistan on this. Could it not be another way of infiltrating armed youth inside?" he remarked about the possible danger involved in the proposal.

During CMs' conference on internal security in New Delhi, Abdullah had proposed formulating a new surrender policy for youth in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK) willing to return to the mainstream.

Abdullah had also sought Centre's help in framing a policy for return of these youth who went for training in militant camps in POK but do not want to come back with weapons.
