Hyderabad: Seeking to keep up the pressure on the Centre for the formation of Telangana, the all-party Telangana Joint Action Committee (JAC) tonight decided to hold different forms of protests till February seven.

The steering committee of JAC met here and decided to hold sit-ins at offices of district Collectors on February one, relay hunger strike of legislators at assembly on February two, form a human chain from Adilabad to Mahabubnagar on February three, JAC convener C Kodandaram told reporters.

On February four, the agitators would prepare food on the Rajiv Gandhi highway and on February five, human chain would be formed at Kodada. A convention of public representatives would be held at Adilabad on February six.

The agitations would culminate on February seven with the massive students' convention at Warangal.

The JAC yesterday extended the deadline till February seven for getting the resignations of legislators accepted, following Union Home Minister P Chidambaram's announcement to appoint a committee on the statehood issue by next week.
