Raipur: Three new cases of confirmed swine
flu have come to the fore in Chhattisgarh taking the total
number of patients suffering from dreaded virus in the state
to 28.
Dr T K Agrawal, in-charge of Epidemic Control unit, told
PTI that Delhi-based National Institute of Communicable
Diseases has confirmed that the three samples sent from state
have tested positive for swine flu.
While one of the patients is a woman, currently
undergoing treatment in Delhi, another one is hospitalised in
the state capital itself, Agrawal said.
However, the whereabouts of the third patient are yet to
be known and police are on lookout for him, he added.
