Guwahati: A woman was arrested from the
commercial hub of the city and arms and ammunition were seized
from her on Tuesday, police said.
The woman, claiming to be from Nagaland, was arrested
from crowded Fancy Bazaar following a tip-off received by the
police.
A 7.65 mm revolver with hundred rounds of ammunitions
and two magazines were seized from her, the police said.
The police are investigating her possible links with any
militant organisation.
