Ahmedabad: Four people died today of swine
flu in Gujarat taking the death toll due to H1N1 virus in the
state to 229.
State health department officials said that three
patients identified as Saritaben (25), Dharmishthaben (25) and
Jignesh Meghjibhai died of swine flu at PDU hospital in Rajkot
while 25-year-old Krishnaben Talavia died at civil hospital in
Ahmedabad.
Meanwhile, 15 fresh cases were reported from Surat,
Vadodara, Bhuj, Rajkot, Jamnagar and Amreli, they said.
So far 1,203 persons have been tested positive with the
infectious disease in the state.
