Tirunelveli: In a case of dishonour killing, a 17-year-old girl was allegedly murdered by her two brothers for falling in love with a Dalit boy in the district, police said on Saturday.

The two brothers poured acid into the mouth of their sister Gomathy and hanged her at their house in Seevalaperi village last night. They have been arrested on a complaint from the Village Administrative Officer Regina, police said.
