A total of 320 air warriors were today inducted into the Indian Air Force after completing their training at Tambaram Air Force Station here.

Chennai: A total of 320 air warriors were today inducted into the Indian Air Force after completing their training at Tambaram Air Force Station here.

Air Vice Marshal M Fernandez, Assistant Chief of Air Staff (Training), Air Headquarters, reviewed the passing-out parade.

During his speech, Fernandez said the IAF was witnessing major changes in operational philosophy following the induction of state-of-the-art aircraft, equipment and weapon system.

Air Commodore Rippon Gupta, Air Officer Commanding, Tambaram Air Force Station, Gp Capt Amit Sharma, Commanding Officer of Mechanical Training Institute and Gp Capt Asheesh Shrivastava, Commanding Officer of Workshop Training Institute were also present.
