Chennai: As her government completes one year in office, AIADMK supremo and Chief Minister Jayalalithaa on Friday directed her partymen to celebrate the occasion by highlighting the government`s achievements in the last one year.
In a statement, she said the cadres should hold public meetings in each assembly constituency on May 18 and 19, explaining the salient features of various pro-people programme initiatives launched by it during the year.
She said leaders of frontal organisations should also participate in the public meetings.
AIADMK came to power in May 2011 Assembly polls defeating the Karuanidhi-led DMK.
