Lucknow: BJP state president Surya Pratap
Shahi on Saturday dissolved all district, city and divisional units
and cells of the party with immediate effect.
The state president has dissolved units of district,
city and divisional units of the party and cells with
immediate effect, party spokesman Vijay Bahadur Pathak said.
Though the party has not given any reason behind the
dissolution of units, the move came following BJP's poor
performance in the Assembly polls.
The party, which won 51 seats in the last elections,
managed to get only 47 seats in the recently concluded polls.
