Couple held for making bomb threat call

A couple has been arrested for allegedly making a call saying a bomb would explode in Tamil Nadu CM Jayalalithaa`s residence here, police said.

Chennai: A couple has been arrested for allegedly
making a call saying a bomb would explode in Tamil Nadu Chief
Minister Jayalalithaa`s residence here, police said on Thursday.

They telephoned the police control room claiming that a
bomb would go off in the Chief Minister`s residence at Poes
Garden, police said, adding, the couple, hailing from
Tiruvottiyur, was arrested yesterday.
The case is being investigated.
