DMDK members turn up in black for Assembly

Chennai: DMDK MLAs Friday came to the Tamil Nadu
assembly attired in black protesting against the suspension of their party leader Vijaykanth.

While the men wore black shirts, the women came in black
sarees. However, party`s Deputy leader Panruti S
Ramachandran was in white shirt and dhoti.
Vijaykanth, the opposition leader in the state assembly,
was suspended for 10 days yesterday for breach of privilege
during a heated exchange with Chief Minister Jayalalithaa on
February one.
