Fire breaks out at IT building in Chennai

Chennai: A fire broke out at a multi-storey
building housing a leading IT firm at Sholinganallur on the
outskirts of the city early this morning, police said.

The blaze started at around 1028 hours and five fire
tenders were rushed to the spot to douse it, they said.

Employees working at the building were evacuated
following the incident.
