Four children get locked inside car, suffocate to death in Tamil Nadu

A report claimed on Wednesday that four children died of suffocation after getting locked inside a car in Tamil Nadu.

Chennai: A report claimed on Wednesday that four children died of suffocation after getting locked inside a car in Tamil Nadu.

The children, aged between 4 and 10 years, had reportedly entered into an unknown person`s car, which was unlocked and parked at a yard for vehicles seized from bank loan defaulters.

Police said the children apparently entered the unlocked car but failed to make their way out and suffocated to death.

The children were at Vedanatham village in the Tutcorin district to attend a temple festival.
