Passing interim orders on a petition by B Pavithra, daughter of Dharmapuri MLA A Baskar, after she married a man of her choice against her parents` wishes.

The girl submitted that she had married Arul Prakash from her community on November 11 in Yercaud against her parents` wishes.

"On coming to know of the marriage, my parents by using political influence, engaged henchmen to chase us and separate us in one way of other and thus we are being threatened by my parents," she said.
