Chennai: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister
Jayalalithaa on Monday launched a series of welfare measures
across the state, via video-conferencing.
She also inaugurated the newly constructed building of the
Madras Reporters' Guild, a journalists' body, here.
The Chief Minister inaugurated nine Arts and Science
colleges across the state, including in her native constituency
Srirangam, where she also launched new bus services.
Speaking on the occasion, Jayalalithaa said she felt happy
to implement the public welfare projects and wished
journalists all the best after inaugurating the Guild
building, located inside Omandurar Government Estate.
