Jeddah-bound flight developes snag, leaves Chennai

Aircraft SV-841, on its way from Kuala Lumpur, which
landed at Chennai airport at around 4:30 pm yesterday, left
for Jeddah at around 9 pm, the airport sources said.
About 200 passengers did not deboard the plane as it would
have given rise to immigration and customs complications, but
were provided provisions during their stay, the sources said.

The flight left later in the night after engineers fixed
the snag, the sources added.
