comments realting to Anna Centenary Library, which were

In a petition filed before Chief Metropolitan Magistrate RKI llivalavan, TKS Elangovan, MP, who represented
Karunanidhi, said the paper in its November four issue had
carried an editorial using "defamatory and derogatory
language" against Karunanidhi regarding the library.

the direct supervision of the state Public Works Department,
through open tender, the petitioner claimed, adding that the
accusation against him was `false and defamatory`.
