Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi wished ailing Sri Satya Sai Baba a speedy recovery and recalled his contributions towards drinking water supply to Chennai.

Karunanidhi on Monday wished ailing Sri Satya Sai Baba a speedy
recovery and recalled his contributions towards drinking water
supply to Chennai.
"My heart aches on hearing that Sai Baba is seriously ill
and I very sincerely wish him a speedy recovery. He should be
back to normal, responding to the wishes of thousands of his
admirers," he said in a faxed message to Baba`s secretary,
Chakravarthi at Puttaparthi.
Karunanidhi said he had great respect and immense
affection for Baba and for his abiding interest in Tamil
Nadu and unending love for its people.`
"His liberal and timely contribution towards better
drinking water supply to people of Chennai is really
memorable," Karunanidhi said and wished him a speedy recovery.
Sai Baba had been hospitalised on March 28 following lung
and chest congestion and has been on ventilator support.
The Sri Satya Sai Trust had taken up repair of a waterway
as part of Telugu Ganga project in 2009 to supply water to
