Dindigul: A local DMK functionary has been arrested in connection with a land grabbing case at Ayyampalayam in the district, police said on Thursday.
Police said Darmar, a DMK member from Madurai, had complained that Athur Union DMK secretary Muralidharan and two other partymen had razed structures on his 2.50 acre land and forcibly occupied it.
They had also asked him to handover his land to them, Darmar had alleged in the complaint.
Muralidharan was today produced before a court which remanded him to judicial custody.
