Chennai: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa
has announced new members for the general body and executive
council of Tamil Nadu Eyal Isai Nataka Manram, a unit of state
Directorate of Art and Culture.
The nine members announced in the general body includes V
S Raghavan, Vani Jayaram, Nithyasree Mahadevan, Krishnakumari
Narendran, Jayanthi Kannappan, S Varadarajan, Prabhu, Makkal
Kural Ramji, Madhavapeddi Murthy, an official release said.
In this, Raghavan, Jayaram and Narendran will be part of the
executive council. Tamil Nadu Eyal Isai Nataka Manram's member
secretary and finance secretary will be in addition to the ex
official members in the general body as well as in the
executive council.
The members will serve for a tenure of three years, it said.
Tamil Nadu Eyal Isai Nataka Manram, a unit of state
Directorate of Art and Culture carries out the objectives of
the Central Sangeet Natak Akademi at the state level and also
functions for the development and fostering of traditional
Tamil Arts.
