Kumbakonam: The head of the ancient Saivite Mutt at Madurai, Arunagiri Gnanasambandha Swami on Monday insisted that there were no differences of opinion between him and the Mutt`s junior pontiff Nithyananda.
However, he blamed the self-styled godman`s disciples for not following the over 1500 year-old Madurai Adheenam`s customs. "We are correcting it," he told reporters here after visiting the Thiruparambiyam temple here.
The senior pontiff said there was no enmity between him and the head of the Dharmapuram Adheenam and he would call on him soon.
