reservation in Tamil Nadu does not allow the state to provide

The court had ruled "if a state wants to exceed 50 per
cent reservation, it is required to base its decision on the
quantifiable data," he said.
For this, the state Backward Classes Commission should
collect statistics, he said, adding only after such a census,
the reservation for every community would be legally valid.
The court verdict did not give the state any room for
exclusive reservation for Vanniyars, he said in response to
PMK founder Dr S Ramadoss` demand.
"If there is any haste in taking a decision on the
subject, it will only aggravate the problem," he said.
