Chennai: Over 800 people have been detained on various charges by police in storming operations on Saturday night.
Among those detained, 155 were booked under Section 109, 110 of the CrPC Act, 68 were detained for drunken driving and 67 persons were held under non-bailable warrants, it said.
A special team from each police station was set up to conduct the storming operation, it added.
