Rangasamy govt anti-people, says Jaya

Accusing Puducherry CM N Rangasamy of indulging in family politics, AIADMK supremo J Jayalalithaa said the incumbent govt was "anti-people."

Chennai: Accusing her former ally and
Puducherry Chief Minister N Rangasamy of indulging in family
politics by fielding a relative for the Indra Nagar assembly
by-poll, AIADMK supremo J Jayalalithaa today said the
incumbent government was "anti-people."

"Four months after assuming office, Puducherry government
has not implemented any welfare measures. Law and order is in
disarray. No action has been taken on Education Minister PM
Kalyanasundaram, charged with using a proxy to write SSLC
Examination. Overall the Ranagsamy government is functioning
in support of anti-people activities," she charged.
In a statement here, she said while Rangasamy, chief of the
All India NR Congress, had resigned from the Indra Nagar seat,
necessitating the October 13 by-poll, he had fielded his
brother`s son as the candidate, "betraying" his partymen.

Canvassing votes for her party`s Puducherry unit Treasurer
A Venkateswaran who is in the fray, she assured he would
strive for addressing all the needs of the local voters.
Though the NR Congress had aligned with AIADMK for the
April Assembly elections, it had formed the government on its
own with the support of an independent, which the AIADMK
supremo described as breach of "coalition dharma."
