Rameswaram: Three Tamil Nadu fishermen were arrested in Sri Lankan waters on charges of smuggling ganja, official sources said here on Sunday.
Manoharan, Senthil Kumar and Saravanan, hailing from Arkattuturai in Nagapattinam district, allegedly strayed into Sri Lankan waters yesterday.
A patrolling Sri Lakan police team arrested the three after seizing some packets of ganga from them, the sources said.
They were lodged in a prison in Jaffna, the sources said.
