Erode: Forest Department officials have taken
five persons into custody for possessing panther skin at
Trichirapalli.
Forest Department sources said based on a tip off that some
persons in Musiri near Trichirapalli possessed panther skins
and were trying to sell it, they arranged a special team and
took them into custody yesterday.
A panther skin was also seized from them, the sources said.
