TCS employee murder case: Jaya directs police to nab culprits at the earliest

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa on Wednesday directed police to arrest the culprits involved in the murder of a 24-year-old IT woman employee here at the earliest and announced a compensation of Rs three lakh to the family of the victim.

"I have directed the police (CB-CID) to arrest the culprits at the earliest and take legal action against them," she said in a statement.
Two migrant workers from West Bengal, Uttam Mandal and Ram Mandal were arrested yesterday in connection with the brutal murder of the techie, whose body was found in the SIPCOT campus at Siruseri near here in a decomposed state on February 22.

Expressing her condolences and sympathies, Jayalalithaa announced Rs three lakh as compensation from the Chief Minister`s General Relief Fund.
On the basis of information provided by two of the arrested, special teams have been sent to different places to nab some more persons.
