Three found beheaded in Karur

Karur (TN): Three persons of the same
family, including a five-year-old girl, were found beheaded at
a village here today.

Kalayarasi, 22, Kalyani, 52 and her granddaughter
Karnika, 5, were found beheaded at Vellanthoor village in what
police said could have followed an act of robbery.

The bodies were found by neighbours and police said the
robbers should have decamped with cash and jewels. An estimate
of the robbed items was not available.

About two months ago, three women, including a doctor,
had been found murdered in similar circumstances at Namakkal
district.

Special teams have been formed to nab the culprits,
police said.
