Chennai: Tamil Nadu government on Friday transferred three IPS officers in the state.
MS Muthusamy, presently Superintendent of Police, Salem district, has been transferred and posted as SP, Security Branch I, CID, Chennai, an official release said.
A Saravanan, presently SP, Security Branch I, CID, has been posted as Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), St Thomas Mount while Kotnis Ashwin Mukund, currently DCP, St Thomas Mount, posted as SP, Salem district.
The transfers and postings were with immediate effect, the release said.
