Chennai: The Monsoon session of Tamil Nadu Assembly, which began on Monday, was adjourned without transacting any business after condoling the death of Congress Legislature Party leader D Sudharsanam and Colachel MLA Jayapal.

The House passed a condolence resolution moved by Speaker Avudaiyappan to mourn the death of Sudharsanam and Jayapal.

The House passed a condolence resolution moved by Speaker Avudaiyappan to mourn the death of Sudharsanam and Jayapal.

Later talking to reporters Avudaiyappan said that there would be question hour on all days followed by introduction of bills and debate on Supplementary Estimates.

Meanwhile, MLAs belonging to Left parties entered the House wearing black badges in protest against US President Barack Obama`s visit to the country.
