TN Governor congratulates ISRO scientists

Chennai: With ISRO successfully launching its 100th mission, Tamil Nadu Governor K Rosaiah on Sunday congratulated top scientists for their feat.

The nation feels pride in launching its 100th space mission with the indigenous PSLV-C21, Rosaiah said in a Raj Bhavan release.

"Once again we have proved that India is all set to become a superpower and 21st century is ours", he said.

"I congratulate K Radhakrishnan, Chairman, ISRO, the dedicated team of scientists and all those who have made the historic mission a successful one", he said.

Earlier, Rosaiah welcomed Prime Minister Manmohan Singh at the airport here on his return from Sriharikota and congratulated him for ISRO`s creditable achievement in the successful launch of PSLV-C21, the release said.

ISRO successfully launched its 100th space mission with the indigenous rocket putting in orbit two foreign satellites from the spaceport of Sriharikota.
