Erode: A ten-day old male child has been found
abandoned near a dustbin in Kollampalayam in the district,
police said.
The infant was spotted yesterday evening by residents of
Bharathinagar in Kollampalayam when they heard its cries,
police said.
The child is currently being kept in the Government
hospital and its condition is satisfactory, police said.
Police are investigating the issue.
