On Aug 12, candidates at a centre taking the TNPSC Group II exam had complained that they suspected the question paper was leaked after they noticed a woman reportedly going through hand-written questions and answers prior to the exam which were similar to the ones in the question paper.
The candidates informed invigilators after it was over. Following this, the woman was taken to the Collectorate where Collector V.K. Shanmugam questioned her.
The woman reportedly told him that her husband, a bus conductor, had given her the hand-written questions and she was not aware from where he had got it.
