TTD new board members sworn in at Lord Venkateswara temple

 Telugu Desam Party leader Chadalawada Krishnamurthy was sworn in today as Chairman of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), which runs the famous hill shrine of Lord Venkateswara, richest in the country, at nearby Tirumala.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu had appointed Krishnamurthy as Chairman of TTD board and 14 others as members for a one-year-term on April 27.
Besides this, three senior IAS officers also would act as ex-officio members on the board, temple sources said.
Eleven others, including film director K Raghavendra Rao, took oath of office as new members.
TTD Executive Officer D Sambasiva Rao administered the oath to the Chairman and the members inside the hill temple.
