Two killed in explosion in fireworks unit

Virudhunagar: Two workers were killed
while one suffered serious burns in an explosion at a fireworks unit near Sattur, police said on Wednesday.

They had suffered 90 to 100 per cent burns in the
explosion on Monday and the two succumbed to injuries at the
Government Rajaji Hospital in Madurai last night.

The fireworks unit foreman P Ramkumar has been arrested,
police said.
