Chennai: AIADMK General Secretary Jayalalithaa on Sunday urged party cadres to work "wholeheartedly" to bring back to the state the `golden rule` of party founder and former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M G Ramachandran.
"Opposition parties may torture us and threaten voters by using many tactics. But you are duty bound in bringing back his golden rule in State", she said in a letter to partymen on the eve of MGR`s 94th birth anniversary tomorrow.
"In our journey to bring that your involvement and hardwork are very significant", she said.
She also assured them of her full support in taking the party on the path to success.
As part of 94th birth anniversary Jayalaltihaa would garland MGR`s statue at the party office tomorrow.
