Salem: A 22-year-old youth was arrested on Wednesday on charges of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl student here, police said.
The youth took the girl to an isolated place when she was returning from the school and sexually assaulted her. The locals caught hold of the youth and handed over to the police.
Cases under various sections of IPC were registered against the youth, police said.
