Hyderabad: A 28-year-old bank executive from Telangana has pleaded Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje for help in finding his wife, who has been missing for nearly a month.

As per reports, B Vinay Babu, who is employed with a bank in Hyderabad, has alleged that his wife was abducted a month ago by her family because they were opposed to an inter-caste marriage.

Since Babu's in-laws are originally from Rajasthan, Babu believes that they might have shifted her to Jodhpur.

"My appeal to Rajasthan Chief Minister (Vasundhara Raje) is to please help me find my wife. She is missing for one month and I am really worried about her safety. If she was fine, she would have definitely called me,'' he was quoted as saying.

Babu met 23-year-old Mamatha in 2013 in Hyderabad and the couple got married two months ago.

Shortly after his marriage, the couple reported to the local police that they were threats from the girl's family after which the entire family was summoned for counselling.

Mamatha also filed an FIR in this connection.

The couple was tailed by strangers, and Mamatha suddenly disappeared a month ago while Babu was at work.

Neighbours later informed the police that they saw his wife being forcibly taken away.
