New Delhi: The Board of Intermediate Education Telangana on Monday declared the Intermediate Second Year General and Vocational results.
Those candidates who appeared for the Board of Intermediate Education Telangana 2nd year examinations in the month of March 2015 can access the result on http://results.cgg.gov.in/.
The Theory papers for 2nd year were conducted from March 10 to 27.
Since the formation of the Telangana state in 2014, the Board of Intermediate Education Telangana has been conducting and supervising the system of Intermediate education in the state.
The BIE Telangana Website states that the education governing body supervises 'devising of courses of study, prescribing syllabus, conducting examinations, granting affiliations to colleges and, providing direction, support and leadership for all educational institutions under its jurisdiction'.
Since its establishment, the newly-formed state Intermediate Education Board has conducted the exam for the first time, and these results will be a debut of sorts for the Telangana state's Intermediate students.
The Telangana State Inter First (1st) Year results 2015 were declared on April 22 this year.
The Intermediate Public Examination was earlier conducted at the end of the 2nd year of a curriculum. However, since 1978-79 the Intermediate exams are being held at the end of both the 1st year course and at the end of 2nd year course.
Telangana's Minister for Education Guntakandla Jagadish Reddy is also the chairman of the state's Board of Intermediate Education.
The declaration of the BIE Intermediate 2nd years results will end months of suspense for the students and mark the culmination of years of hard work put in by them. It will also decide the future course of action of the young aspirants.
