New Delhi: A delegation led by Telangana Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao, called on Union Minister for Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation Uma Bharti here.
In a memorandum submitted to the Minister here yesterday, the Telangana delegation raised various issues related to sharing of river water with neighbouring states and demanded Centre`s intervention on some of the issues.
Rao also requested for a detailed meeting on the issue.
Bharti promised to look into their demands. She told Rao that after going through the memorandum, a detailed response will be sent to Telangana.
