Puducherry budget on April 22

Puducherry: The full-fledged Puducherry budget for 2015-16 would be presented by Chief Minister N Rangasamy on April 22.

   Assembly Speaker V.Sabapathy has reconvened the House to meet at 9.30 a.M. When the budget would be presented, official sources said.

   A senior official in the Assembly Secretariat told PTI today that the session was likely to go on for ten days.

   On March 25, the assembly had adopted the Vote on Account Bill for Rs 1,483.33 crore to meet government expenditure for the first three months of the current fiscal.

   The interim allocation was made since NITI Aayog`s nod for the plan size of the Union Territory was not available then.
