11 child labourers rescued from Chandausi

Eleven children, who were being allegedly taken to Ambala as child labourers, were today rescued at the Chandausi railway station, GRP sources said.

Bhimnagar: Eleven children, who were being allegedly taken to Ambala as child labourers, were today rescued at the Chandausi railway station, GRP sources said.
On a tip off, GRP arrested Jagjivan, a middleman belonging to Gonda district and rescued the children in the age group of eight to 12 years when they were being taken to Ambala by the Lucknow-Chandigarh express.
Jagjivan used to take children from Gonda, Barabanki and Bahraich to Ambala for working as child labourers, GRP sources said adding that further action was being taken.
