18 die as bus falls into river in Uttar Pradesh

At least 14 people were killed and 19 critically injured Monday when the bus carrying them fell into a river in Uttar Pradesh`s Bulandshahr district, police said.

Bulandshahr: Eighteen people, including eight children, were killed and 19 others injured
Monday their bus fell into a river near here, police said.

The bus, on its way to Badaun, fell into the Neem
river under police station Debai in the wee hours this
morning, SSP Amitabh Yash said.

The bus passengers were going to village Ghosli to
cast their votes in panchayat polls, he said.
19 injured were admitted to a government hospital
here, he added.
