Bareilly: Two persons were killed today and eight others injured when an auto was hit by a speeding truck in Fatehganj Paschimi area here, police said.
Tasleem (35) and Irshad Jafari (50) were killed when the auto they were travelling in was hit by a truck this afternoon, police said.
Eight persons were injured in the accident and admitted to the district hospital, they said.
The truck driver managed to flee from the spot, police said, adding that they were investigating the case.
