5 injured as packet falls from bus roof and explodes

Lucknow: At least five persons were on Thursday
injured when a packet kept on the roof of a bus exploded in
Unnao district, about 60 kms from here, Home Department
officials here said.

The incident occured in Purwa area of the district
when a packet containing explosives, which was kept on the
roof, fell accidentally and exploded, they said.

Police said about 50-60 passengers were travelling in
the bus at the time of the incident, they said.
